The American Society of Transplant Surgeons (ASTS) is conducting an online survey to determine how its members feel about the report the Institute of Medicine issued on July 20 regarding ways to improve the transplant system in the United States.
The five-question survey restates some of the findings from the Institute of Medicine's report and asks members how strongly they agree or disagree with them. The survey is geared to help the society decide "how these recommendations may ft into the public policy process currently underway in Congress and with the Department of Health and Human Services," according to ASTS.
The survey is posted at www.asts.org/whatsnew.htm.
