The United Network for Organ Sharing is seeking public comment on eight policy and by-law proposals that its board and committees have recently addressed.
Comments must be submitted by May 2 and, following reconsideration by the appropriate UNOS committees, the proposals may be offered for consideration by the UNOS/Organ Procurement and Transplantation Network board of directors at its meeting on June 28 and 29.
A 24-page document posted at www.unos.org/pdf/pubcomment_20010316.pdf details the proposals, and public comment can be entered online at www.unos.org/About/publiccomment/policy_email_response_form.asp.
